The Hairy Godmothers are a queer theatre company based in the South of England. Their work is satirical and political: combining topics and themes they believe to be important with fun, silliness and comedy. Their most recent show, Duty of Care, questions the role of the police and explores toxic masculinity, misogyny and abuse of power.

The company met whilst training at Falmouth University in 2019, and formed The Hairy Godmothers in 2022. Find out more about the individual artists below!
